Pollini’s work was born out of the artisan tradition of Italian footwear and leather goods production. In 2008 the appointment of designers Jonathan Saunders and Nicholas Kirkwood as creative directors, responsible for clothing and accessories respectively, marked the opening of a new chapter for the brand.
